There is a rhythm to life that cannot be rushed. Like the seed that lies dormant in the dark earth, or the lotus that waits beneath still waters, we all carry within us the quiet promise of becoming.
For me, that promise begins with spirit. To be rooted in spirit is to remember where I come from — my ancestors, my family, the echoes of love that shaped me long before I could name them. Roots are not always visible, but they hold us steady. They remind us that even when storms bend us low, we do not break.
And then, there is grace. Blossoming in grace is not about perfection, but about allowing. It is the gentle unfolding of who I am when I release the need to force or hurry. Grace shows up in the smile & laughter of my child, in the way my heart softens when I remember I am enough, and in the moments when forgiveness blooms where bitterness/anger once lived.
I used to think I had to chase love to feel whole — that if I poured myself into others, they would somehow pour wholeness back into me. But spirit whispered otherwise. Wholeness was already mine, waiting beneath the surface. It just needed roots deep enough to hold me, and the patience to let blossoms come in their season.
So here I am, rooted and blossoming — not perfectly, not all at once, but in rhythm with something greater than myself. With sights set on bettering myself.
🌿 May you too find your roots in spirit, and may you blossom in grace, in your own time, in your own way.
